Beryl - linen dog bed cover
Strictly speaking, this Irish linen fabric is far too posh for dog bed covers but we have bought up a shipping order of end of line stock from our supplier and decided that it would be perfect for our pooches.
It is a heavy dark navy linen, closely woven, to resist those claws, in a traditional herringbone weave. Designed to make use of your otherwise soon to be discarded, pillows and duvets, it is truly eco-friendly, just like handmade quilts were a hundred years ago. Your dog (or cat) will love their new bed and you will no longer need to contemplate a manmade fabric eyesore in the corner of your room.
We have three sizes.
Small, approx. 50 x 75 cm. The size of a standard pillow.
Medium, approx. 70 x 100 cm.
Large, approx. 85 x 110 cm.
We have considered how pillows and folded up duvets might fit into them but of course it also depends on the size of your dog. For reference purposes, Nancy, who is a labrador, wire haired Pointer cross, is very happy on a medium size. My sister’s Boxer, Beryl, is altogether bigger and more lanky, is happier on a large bed (she told us so).
100% Irish linen (yes, really.). Machine washable. Made in the UK.

Small is great for using up an old pillow and would suit small dog breeds and probably all cats. It measures approximately 50 x 75cm.
Medium would accommodate a single or double duvet and would be perfect for a Collie, Boxer or Setter. It measures approximately 70 x 100cm.
Large would have enough room for you to stuff your old king or superking duvet into and even the laziest Labrador would lounge in the lap of luxury. It measures approximately 85 x 110cm.
