Linen bed valances
Our substantial linen bed valances are available in all standard sizes and have a box pleat half way down each side and on each of the bottom corners. They are piped at the top to finish them off nicely, and they are completely pre-shrunk, allowing us to hem the drop to your individual requirement. There is a space on the order form for you to give us this measurement when you order. Measure from the top of the bed base - below the mattress - either down to the floor or a little above, whichever you prefer. The valance will be made exactly to the length of drop you give us. Also, if your bed has a footboard or is a traditional brass bed, we can supply your valance with corner splits so that the valance can be used on this kind of bed. Just let us know on the order form when you check out. Alternatively, you could be very quaint and call us! 07801 749 638.
As it would be a waste to use premium linen under the mattress as it will not be seen in normal use, not to mention an unnecessary expense, we use a plain cotton fabric.
The colours we currently have are white, cricket white, which is a slightly creamy white, and natural flax. We also have a 51% linen and 49% cotton option which is only available at the moment in cricket white.
