Rydal - striped linen rug

from £145.00

We are always saying that the flax plant is a versatile eco plant with little to no waste, think linseed oil, flax seeds, linoleum, paper and of course linen fabric. Some of the fibres woven from flax are indeed strong enough to spin into yarn suitable for making floor coverings, not just lino!

Our Rydal linen rug which has a good heft to it, consists of stripes in two shades of blue, a light sandy shade and a very, very fine red stripe. It has a short fringe at each of the longer ends.

Available in sizes to suit your home, they won’t ‘move’ on carpet but may need a strip of double sided carpet tape on smoother surfaces such as wood or tiles. Any spills should be mopped up immediately and spot cleaned with warm soapy water.

When first unpacked it is likely they will have ripples, these can easily be removed by a few pulls on either end or the placement of something heavy on top of them for an hour or two.

They are 100% linen and made in Belgium.
